mojo launcher by artdeell
I’ve been having a blast with the Mojo Launcher, a cool app I found on the Google Play Store that lets you play Minecraft Java Edition on your phone! It’s a lot like the Pojav Launcher but feels a bit lighter and faster on my Android device. The app, made by artdeell, uses LWJGL to run Java games, and it works on Android 5.0 or higher with at least 2GB of RAM for older versions like 1.16.5, or 4GB for newer ones like 1.21.5. I was able to log in with my Microsoft account, pick my favorite Minecraft version, and even add mods using Fabric. In 2025.
What I really like about Mojo Launcher is how simple it is to use, though it’s not perfect. It supports mod loaders like Forge and Fabric, so I added mods like Sodium to boost performance, but I did run into some issues when adding mods one by one—using modpacks worked better. The app runs smoothly on my phone, giving me around 40 FPS, which is great for a mobile app. However, some users on the Play Store mentioned crashes or trouble with modded content, and I noticed it took a few minutes to load a world.
